When you were a child and want to try something extreme activities such as when we see in a fair or caravan our mind wonders how these people are confident enough to ride such things where it is too scary to ride on. Sometimes we are pessimistic in this kind of situation because us being careful not to get accidents or minor injuries so we try to avoid those such things.
I remember when I was a child we always go to a fair where a lot of rides and other game activities were found there but I never tried a single of them. I am too scared to ride the “ferris wheel” or “marry go around”. I kinda feel fearful to try it. But my childish mind always wonders what will you feel when you are really on the spot riding all kind of rides.
It took me 27 years to have the courage to do it. I am a little bit confident already in terms of these. My childhood heart remains. It took me courage because that day my special someone bring me to Star City.
That was my first-time experience going to that place. They are too strict due to pandemics. Protocols are made that anyone who will go there will bring a valid ID and their vaccine card. Also, you need to wear a mask for an entire day.
Star City is an Amusement Park located at Pasay City, Philippines where you can do water activities, different type of rides, and different attractions.
If you are an adult but have a adventurous heart it is a perfect stress reliever for you. 😊 Mind me. I did that. It was tiring but very enjoyable day for me. I feel like I am just a child making her childhood dream come true by means of sending someone to make it happened. Not in my wildest guess I will be going these kind of adventure.

My favorite rides are bumper cars which we really get patient to fall in the long line twice and jungle splash where my heart rises that I feel like I’m falling in the boat that was really fun. Our clothes get wet but that was totally fine it was all worthy.

It is very refreshing and exciting at the same time. I realized that it is not bad to give time for yourself to do what you really love even though for some it’s a childish act. Always guard your heart and fill it with love and happiness not hatred and anger. ❤️
In this chaotic world all we need is a day of relaxation. A day away from all the stress and a day without toxic people.
If you want a “budget friendly getaway” where you can chill and pamper yourself away from the city. I highly recommend this place.
This place is perfect for every occasion or without any ocassion. My girlfriend and I decided to visit this place during our anniversary and at first I feel hesitated since this is a long travel for me and I am not used to it. But to make the story short she persuaded me to go with her and if I didn’t come with her I might regret it and miss half of my life. 😅 Luckily she has this convincing power that makes me decide to go there.
Why I recommend this place? It’s because it is perfect location for those who love mountain view and seaside view. Try to imagine a place.
A fascinating place when mountain meets the ocean and footsteps find its way to give life a beautiful and memorable day.
Anawangin Cove is located at Zambales which is known for their extraordinary scenic views and beautiful white beaches not to mention their sandbar that is truly amazing to see. It is 4 hour drive from Manila but I suggest it’s better if you go it with group or any travel agencies for you to have a guide in an unkown place and have a perfect iterinary for the activities to do during your stay.
When we go to Zambales we ride a boat going to Anawangin Cove. You will already see how their mountains are preserved. How beautiful creatures God made. How relaxing the view was.

When we get their at our destination we put up a tent in our own and chill for a moment. After some time the coordinator prepare the food in the means of boodlefight. Boodlefight is like a long table full of food such us rice and proteins and fruits that you will eat using your bare hands. And for me it was an amazing experience. Their food taste good. Very delicious that all the hunger on the long travel will wipe it out.

After the boodlefight. We started our iterninary by going to their wishing mountain. You need to climb to go their but it’s worth it, all the sweat when you will see the beauty at top. You will see how magical the view is. Your mind will be blown how on earth this kind of tourist destination is just a Wow! 😮 I was speechless by then. All I just said is “WOW”
Ow oh! The place has no signal which is one of the reason I highly recommend this place. For you to relax and unwind without disturbance.

Around 4 in the afternoon. We decide to walk in the isle. And walking slowly like saying “THIS IS MY DAY” and “I DESERVED IT” feels like walking at the red carpet taking your time thinking all the walks of life. ❤️❤️❤️
We also try hiking and sunset viewing. Hiking in a cloudy day is perfect for us because the sun is hiding 😅 and the see breeze is so fresh.
For me sunset view is my favorite since it is in my bucket list that I can sit and relax in the sand at the beach watching the sunset with my special one. My favorite person. My comfort zone. ❤️❤️❤️ I feel ticklish in my heart when we watch together the sunset in silence. It’s very solemn and breathtaking place.

At night time when we are about to sleep, we heard fireworks, not knowingly there is also a fire dance. So we decided to join the group and watch the show. The performers are very professional and it’s my first time watching a fire dance. And it is overwhelming night because fire dance with fireworks is good together. Only in Anawangin you will experienced that.
Other activities such as stress release booth wherein you can throw bottles there and put all your force, all your worries, all your hurdles and struggle and when you try it I assure you. The burden you will feel will just vanish away.

Night passed by and sunrise came the group decided to do island hopping. During Island hopping we stop by at Capones Island. The water is also crystal clear. We take some photos that is very instagrammable that no need to edit because of it’s majestic view.

After an hour the group decided to go home and another 4 hours of travel passed by and HOME SWEET HOME. 🏡😘🥰❤️
Lastly, here are my tips and reminders when you decided to travel this type of destination.
1st: Bring powerbank or you want to missed all the photos you might capture there.
2nd: Use waterproof bags or your things will be splash by the water and all gadget will be wasted.
3rd: Bring sunscreens or you will be grilled😅
4th: Bring insect repellent since it is a mountain there is a possibility there are mosquitoes. We don’t want Dengue right? 😊
5th: Tell your loved ones that there is no phone signal their so that they will not get worried when they cannot contact you during your stay.
Lastly, sharing is caring. We want someone to experience something new right😉
When the time is running fast, and separating your ways for the mean in the means of “LDR” Long Distance Relationship is like the day is just an hour and an hour became a minute that turn into a second.
What I meant to say is that the clock is ticking and to be honest I am not ready to leave.
To make the story short I was an OFW who went for vacation. Since the contract is not yet done I don’t really have the choice but to go abroad again. We know as a fact that inflation rates affect us financially so I decided to go back here abroad.
My girlfriend is full of surprises. I don’t know if it’s innate of her or just she just want me to feel special when we are together. She is so caring and loving and understanding and little bit of being dominant 😅 but that’s fine. That’s how it works there is someone to lead on the relationship.
This gf of mine wanted to make extra special for the rest of the days that we were together so she decided to go a famous place in Paranaque and she rent a room for 2 days and 1 night.
Our place of origin is in Pasay City and it is the opposite road of where we are going. Since it’s both our first time by the help of google map and asking a lot of people is not an easy task on that day but nevertheless it was fun. She just follow her instinct on what to do but it was not easy. We try to use grab the cost is very expensive and others don’t want to go there because of traffic. So what did she do we commute. It’s like we are joy riding with different jeepneys in Manila.
Little did we know. We already arrived in the place. It was so amazing what the view looks like. I can picture it out as a condominium with long storey, air-conditioned room, pet friendly and nature friendly place. If you are a nature lover as I sure that you will love this place.😊
When we arrived at the place. We stay first in our room. The room is cozy, air-conditioned, big screen tv where you can watch netflix and do movie marathon and a clean bathroom. They also have appliances such as refrigerator, microwave, flat iron and a dining set for two. I really want to stay that kind of place. The solemnity will give you peaceful mind.

Lastly, my one of a kind experience is the “wave pool” I know for some it is just a cliche but fore me is one of a kind since I came from the province and I didn’t experience this at all. Let me share to you a short video clip at the wave pool. 😊 Also, they have man made white sand that looks a like a replica we see in the white sand at the beach. Truly amazing!!!

Just a quick tip pls wear appropriate bathing suit because if not they will not allow you to enter the wave pool and sunscreen to avoid sunburns.😊

We can share our life story with them and make new friends. Experiencing together with their different culture, discovering new things, discovering new era and never ever forget different cuisine. BECAUSE PEOPLE ESPECIALLY FILIPINOS LOVE TO TRY DIFFERENT CUISINE from other places.
